Saturday was jam packed with activities. First we had Savannah's soccer game, then we met up with our friends the Lott's, who happened to be up in our town for a flag football game for their son JJ. We ate lunch at Pat and Oscars and then headed back to our house. Around 1pm, we had some of Savannah's friends over and celebrated her birthday with cake, ice cream and opening presents. I will post pics from her celebrations at a later time.
After Savannah's birthday gathering, we headed over to the pumpkin patch. This year we visited a different patch by our house. They had pony rides, pumpkin bowling, ring toss, corn cob shooting, jump houses, corn boxes (like sand boxes except with corn kernels), face painting, snow cones popcorn.....
It was hot (as you can tell by the kids faces being all red). Also it was the end of a very long day filled with activities, so there were a few meltdowns. Overall it was a fun day.
