It may not be made of gold

but I love it. We got our SUV.  After running around like chickens with our heads cut off on Saturday (Savannah's dance recital, driving down to East County dropping the kids off, then to La Mesa to go car shopping and finally back to my parents to eat dinner) we bought our new 2012 Tahoe.

The kids love it. They especially love using the DVD player. It is taking some convincing that the short 8 minute morning drive to daycare does not warrant enough boredom to play a movie (:

My favorite part of the car is the seat warmers and XM radio. There is something to be said for having your hiney warmed so you have the feeling that you wet your pants - weird - but still en joyful.
