Savannah Parris has a fan from Paris

Last Saturday we had our annual holiday pictures taken by our family friend Sina Ngov. We feel so blessed to know such a talented artist. Last year we opted out of having our pictures taken because Carter was only a couple months old and quite frankly I was not in my pre- baby body shape and did not want any record of me being a little plump. However after a year of working out (maybe not so religiously) and eating healthy (maybe only in the end), I have lost almost all of my 70lbs!!! Carter is a year old, walking and every so often his personality shines through - although for the most part he is a serious baby. So we decided that now would be the time to take a family portrait.

We decided that Balboa Park would be a perfect location. After a long day of Savannah's dance class, shopping, and a birthday party at Pump It Up, we got ready and took the hour drive to get our pictures taken. Everything was going great, we had taken our pics at the rose garden and then headed over to the well known fountain by the Space Museum. Carter was not cooperating at this time, however Savannah was her usual photo hog self. The place was crowded, but Savannah was still her goofy self posing and wanting all the attention. We noticed a man from another country (later to be determined a french accent) looking over and telling Dave and I that she is beautiful. We politely smiled, then when we were getting ready to leave that location the french man and his woman approach Savannah and us and was telling her how beautiful she is, just then another man on a bike rode up and handed Savannah a rose he had picked for her. WHAT!!!

Of Course Sina and I looked at each other and asked out loud - What are we - chuck liver??
